At 5:30 PM on Saturday, June 20th, Jennifer Lee Krumm and Matthew Michael Miller will be married in the backyard of the Miller residence. It will not be the first time a couple in love takes their vows in this special place.
In fact, Matthew's parents, Mike and Mary Anne, were married here under a grand Shagbark Hickory tree on June 29th, 1974. About 10 years later they built a house on the property, a peninsula on Mary Anne's father's farmland. Sparking somewhat of a tradition, Matthew's uncle Richard and his wife Cyndi were married here in 1997, and in October 2008, Matt's sister Kate wed her husband Kevin in this same lovely spot.
Jennifer and Matthew's wedding event will begin with a cocktail hour at 4 PM, serving drinks and hors d'ouvres. Bus service from select Delafield Hotels will arrive at the Miller residence at 4 and 5 PM. Around 5:30, guests will be asked to make their way to the backyard, where the wedding ceremony will take place.
Immediately following the ceremony, a casual dinner will be served - Saz's "World Famous" Barbeque. Guests are encouraged to mingle, munch and be merry. After dinner... dancing! The classic rock sounds of The Piles of Rhythm will get everyone on the dance floor. Return bus service will begin around 10:30 PM. Drinks and dancing will continue until approximately midnight!
